Rory's friends are definitely everywhere! A German website listing numerous bands, concert dates and events, guestbook, photos, etc.

He himself describes it best (unfortunately, the page no longer seems to be updated):
‘Rather than reinventing the wheel, I have tried to compile the best of what the web and other sources have to offer.’

Every year, on the last weekend of May, a festival is held in Ballyshannon, County Donegal in north-west Ireland, in memory of Rory Gallagher, who was born in this small town on 2 March 1948 at the Rock Hospital (you couldn't make it up). Three days and evenings of music in the streets, pubs and under the big top. An unforgettable experience, everyone says so!

Jean-Noël COGHE is a French journalist (Rock&Folk, Best, France Inter, RMC, RTL, etc.). A close friend of Rory's, in this book he recounts the unique moments he experienced with the guitarist, his loved ones and his musicians. Several editions, including one with a recording of a concert in Lille (still available second-hand).
